GF Securities Co., Ltd (000776.SH) announced Wednesday it had completed the case of Nantong Fujitsu Microelectronics Co., Ltd (Fujitsu) acquiring Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD)'s integrated circuit packaging business assets in China and Malaysia for 371 million U.S. dollars.
The case marked GF Securities has further improved its investment banking business in international capital operation. Fujitsu, the buyer, was jointly established by China's Nantong Huada Microelectronics Group Ltd. and Fujitsu (China) Ltd. and Nantong Huada is the largest shareholder.
The targets of the acquisition are 85 percent stake of AMD's subsidiary in Suzhou and 85 percent stake of AMD's assets in Malaysia.
