A total of 1,245 out of the 1,251 companies listed on China's Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) board and ChiNext board have released or guided financial results for the third quarter of 2015, of which 826 ones or 66.35 percent predicted to make profit, according to financial information provider Wind Data.
These companies' financial results largely outperformed those listed on the main boards of Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses. Among them, 201 companies expected to see their net profit rise over 100 percent in the third quarter of 2015 as compared with the same period of the previous year, while 126 ones forecast to incur an over 100-percent net losses. By sector, companies in computer, electric devices and electronics sectors saw obvious improvement in earnings in the third quarter of the year.
