Baidu (BIDU.NASDAQ), China's leading IT company, inked a strategic framework cooperation agreement with the provincial government of central China's Henan on Tuesday.
Under the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in smart government, smart life, and traditional industry transition and update in the following 5 years. Residents in Henan will have access to public service including policy inquiry, administrative examination and public security through a portal provided by Baidu.
