The Phase IV project of Huaneng's Ningxia Daba power plant, involving a dynamic investment of 4.99 billion yuan, is under construction and expected to come on stream in 2017.
The power plant, initially constructed since 1988, is the first 1-million-kw thermal power plant in Ningxia. The Phase IV project, with two sets of 660MW high-efficient ultra supercritical thermal power generating units, is one of the six power sources for the Ningxia-Zhejiang power transmission program.
And it accounts for 14.2 percent of the total installed capacity of the Ningxia-Zhejiang power transmission lines.
