Huaneng Power International, Inc. (600011.SH; 00902.HK; HNP.NYSE) announced Tuesday that its power generation by power plants within China amounted to 81.178 billion kwh in the third quarter of 2015, up 13.85 percent year on year.
The company sold 76.437 billion kwh of electricity in the third quarter, up 13.66 percent on year, the company said in a filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The company's total power generation by plants within China reached 241.003 billion kwh in the first nine months, up 8.05 percent year on year while total electricity sales stood at 227.09 billion kwh during the period, up 7.72 percent year on year.
