Ma Yongsheng, chief geologist with Top Asian refiner Sinopec Corp. (SNP.NYSE; 00386.HK; 600028.SH), has been appointed as deputy general manager of Sinopec Group, said a short statement by Sinopec Group on Tuesday.
Sinopec Group didn't give more details only citing a notice by State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Born in 1961, Ma is also a member with Chinese Academy of Engineering thanks to his contribution to discovery of Puguang gas field in southwest China's Sichuan basin.
