Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd. (600519.SH), China's signature high-end liquor maker, announced on Monday an operating revenue of 35 billion yuan for the first half of 2018, up 37 percent year on year.
Total profits under preliminary calculations soared about 40 percent year on year, the company said in a filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Moutai achieved sales revenue of 76.4 billion yuan in 2017, up 50.5 percent year-on-year.
The liquor maker giant expects net revenue of 90 billion yuan in 2018, an increase of 18 percent or more, and it plans to achieve annual sales revenue of more than 100 billion yuan in the near future, according to earlier announcements.
