
BEIJING, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- China's biggest food trader COFCO saw its revenue hit 498.4 billion yuan (about 71 billion U.S. dollars) in 2019.
More than half of the company's revenue was from overseas business, and its annual turnover in agriculture products reached 160 million tonnes, according to the company.
It has established a service network, logistics node and trade channels across over 140 countries and regions to better allocate food resources worldwide and enhance its global business, COFCO said.
The firm said it will strengthen efforts to build a service platform for the agriculture industry and promote the agricultural economy to further integrate with the internet, big data and artificial intelligence.
