Preliminary revenue hit a record high of 279.04 trillion won (232.1 billion U.S. dollars) in 2021, up 17.8 percent from the previous year.
It slightly topped market expectations of about 278 trillion won (231.3 billion U.S. dollars).
Operating profit surged 43.3 percent over the year to 51.57 trillion won (42.9 billion U.S. dollars) last year.
The profit missed market consensus of around 52 trillion won (43.3 billion U.S. dollars), but it was the third-highest yearly reading in the company's history.
Net income and detailed earnings on each business unit will be announced later this month after an external audit and the board of directors' approval.
