1. China imported 699.05 million tonnes of iron ores in the first nine months of 2015, nearly the same as that for the same period of 2014, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC) on Tuesday.

2. China exported 83.11 million tonnes of steel products in the first nine months of 2015, up 27.2 percent year on year, according to data released by the General Administration of Customs (GAC) on Tuesday.

8. The China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) dipped 1.16 percent to 204.36 on Tuesday, according to China Iron and Steel Association (CISA). On Tuesday, the homegrown iron ore price index dipped 0.19 to 203.52, and the imported iron ore price index dropped 1.43 percent to 204.59.
