China's services trade deficit rises to USD22.8 bln in August

China's international services trade deficit increased to 22.8 billion U.S. dollars (RMB143.6 billion) in August from 17.6 billion US dollars (RMB107.6 billion) in July, the latest data from the nation's foreign-exchange regulator showed.

According to the State Administration of Foreign Exchange on Wednesday, revenues from service trade reached 18.5 billion U.S. dollars (RMB116.4 billion) in August while spending amounted to 41.2 billion U.S. dollars (RMB260 billion) for the same period.
