China's social logistics volume reaches a total value of 202.4 trillion yuan in the first 11 months, up 5.8 percent year on year, according to statistics posted by China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) Wednesday.

Social logistics expenses were 9.3 trillion yuan, up 4.0 percent from a year ago, including 4.7 trillion yuan of transportation fees, up 3.8 percent year on year and accounting for 50.9 percent of total logistics expenditures.

Meanwhile, China's logistics industry earned overall 6.7 trillion yuan of revenues, up 5.0 percent from a year earlier, with logistics costs hovering at relatively low levels, such as highway and shipping transport costs, which retreated from the same period of 2014.

In short term, logistics industry is likely to remain stable given the habitual demand peak during the pending New Year and Lunar New Year holidays, analysts expect.
