The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), China's top economic planner, on Friday approved the feasibility study report of a railway project from Hefei to Anqing in east China's Anhui province.
The project will involve a total investment of 33.4 billion yuan, including 31.8 billion yuan of construction costs. The remaining 1.6 billion yuan will be spent on the purchase of motor train units.
