China encourages investments in mineral development, chemical engineering, construction materials and agriculture of Tajikistan, said Zhong Shan, vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce, at a meeting with officials from Tajikistan.
China expects Tajikistan to provide good conditions in terms of tax and industrial policies, infrastructure and visa so as to promote bilateral cooperation. China is the second largest trade partner and investment source of Tajikistan. The bilateral trade value of the two countries totaled 2.52 billion US dollars in 2014, up 28.5 percent from 2014.
