CHONGQING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality saw its gross domestic product increase 2.6 percent year on year to 1.77 trillion yuan (around 265 billion U.S. dollars) in the first three quarters of this year, official data showed.
Chongqing saw the value-added of the primary industry rise 3.9 percent year on year to nearly 121.7 billion yuan in the period, while the secondary industry grew 3.9 percent to about 700.9 billion yuan and the tertiary increased 1.2 percent to nearly 948.2 billion yuan.
Meanwhile, the per capita disposable income among residents was 23,539 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.5 percent, and 1.5 percentage points higher than that of the first half of the year.
