Some 15.72 million motorcycles were sold in the Chinese market in the first ten months of this year, a drop of 10 percent year on year, according to the latest statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
Motorcycle output in January-October totaled 15.68 million units, a 10.0-percent decline from the corresponding period of last year. In October, China's motorcycle sales came to 1.45 million units, down 9.4 percent month on month and down 19.0 percent year on year. The monthly motorcycle output fell 10.7 percent from the preceding month and 20.4 percent year on year to 1.43 million units.
