China's household appliance industry generated 1,163.48 billion yuan of main business revenue in the first ten months of 2015, up 1.8 percent year on year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Meanwhile, it made 74.66 billion yuan of profit, up 10.6 percent year on year, and paid 33.33 billion yuan in taxes, up ten percent year on year. The industry posted a sales-output ratio of 95.3 percent in the first ten months of 2015, down 1.2 percentage points year on year. It had an accumulative value of export delivery of 292.19 billion yuan in the period, up 1.1 percent year on year.
In a breakdown, the output of household refrigerators was 77.76 million units, down 1.4 percent year on year; that of household air conditioners 133.48 million units, up 0.1 percent; that of household washing machines, 59.69 million units, up 2.5 percent. In October, the sales-output ratio was 93.8 percent, up 0.7 percentage point year on year; and the export delivery value reached 27.03 billion yuan, up 0.4 percent year on year.
The outputs of household refrigerators, household air conditioners and household washing machines were 6.31 million units, 10.06 million units and 6.13 million units, down 8.6 percent, 8.5 percent and 4.7 percent year on year, respectively.
