China's largest SUV maker hits 10 million mark

SHIJIAZHUANG, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Great Wall Motors (GWM), China's largest sports utility vehicle (SUV) and pick-up manufacturer, said on Wednesday that its total vehicle output surpassed 10 million.

The company saw its ten millionth vehicle, a third-generation Haval H6, roll off the assembly line on Tuesday in its factory in Baoding City, north China's Hebei Province.

The vehicle will be collected and displayed by the Beijing Auto Museum, according to the company.

Headquartered in Baoding, GWM owns SUV and car brands including Haval, Great Wall, WEY, and ORA. The carmaker now has 12 whole-vehicle manufacturing bases worldwide and sells its vehicles to more than 60 countries, including Russia, Australia, South Africa, and Chile.
