China's net imports of coal witnessed heavier decline in 2015 on gloomy coal demand throughout the year.
According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, China imported 204.06 million metric tons (tonnes) of coal and exported 5.33 million tonnes of coal in 2015, resulting in 198.73 million tonnes of net imports in the year.
The net imports in 2015 slid 30.39 percent from a year ago, compared to a year-on-year decrease of 10.67 percent in 2014.
