The annual capacity of licensed coal mines in China reached 3.49 billion tonnes by the end of June 2018, China's National Energy Administration reported on Wednesday
According to the data released, there were 3,816 coal mines with a complete set of licenses and papers by the end of June. Among them, 1,138 were under construction and renovation, involving an annual capacity of 976 million tons and 201 on trial operation, involving an annual capacity of 335 million tons.
