China will advance Internet Plus express delivery development, cultivate express delivery enterprises as well as strengthen industry safety supervision to push forward the healthy development of the express delivery industry, according to opinions released by the State Council.
China aims to construct efficient and energy saving express delivery service system that benefits both urban and rural areas, and equipped with advanced technology and high quality service by 2020, while form a service network that covers the whole country and connects to the world by then, according to the opinions.
Express delivery business volume is estimated to reach 50 billion pieces by 2020 with business revenue reaching 800 billion yuan annually by then. The opinions also encouraged all sorts of capital to participate in the express delivery sector and support the mergers and acquisitions among express delivery enterprises.
