The cargo volume through the Harbin -Yekaterinburg air route amounted to 4,000 metric tons (tonnes) in the past two years and about 400 million US dollars worth of goods were transported through the route, according to data of local authorities quoted by Harbin Daily.
The direct air cargo route between Harbin and Yekaterinburg was launched in November 2013, which was the first cargo airline linking northeast China with Russia. Three flights on the route were operated every week. A daily flight will be available between the two cities during the demand peak of logistics.
