Guangxi plans to build a high-performance aluminum project in Debao county of Baise city, which needs total investments of 11.583 billion yuan. The local government is seeking for investments from outside.
The project includes a 275,000-tonne raw aluminum project, a power supply project with capacity of 2X350 megawatts and a high-performance aluminum project with annual capacity of 300,000 tonnes.
The project is expected to generate 11.4-percent yields (after-tax) and need 10.18 years before it pays off. The project meets requirement of the central government and enjoys preferential tax policies under the country's western development campaign, local officials said.
