China exported about 23,400 metric tons (tonnes) of rare earths in the first three quarters of 2015, up 15.8 percent year on year, according to General Administration of Customs (GAC) on Tuesday.
In September, the country exported 3,033 tonnes of rare earths, up 7.25percent from a month earlier, said the GAC.
