A non-contact and contact testing laboratory of graphene was unveiled recently in Fengtai district of Beijing municipality, according to local government.
The facility would be jointly built by Zhongguancun Fengtai Science Park, Beijing Fengtai New Material Testing Institute and National Physical Laboratory (NPL) of the UK.
The NPL would introduce its achievement on graphene testing standards into the laboratory in Beijing, which would be basically ready by the end of 2015. The laboratory in Beijing would guide the compilation of Chinese standards on graphene industry and keep national standards in line with international ones.
