China's Ministry of Land and Resource recently released a document to solicit public opinions on minimum requirements on the recovery ratio, ore dressing recovery ratio and ratio of associated resource comprehensive utilization in developing ore resources including nickel, tin, antimony, gypsum and talc.
The following table shows minimum requirements on the indicators of the ore resources.

According to the document, the existing mines have to meet the requirements within two years after the release of the indicators. For those failing to meet the requirements, the provincial departments of the land and resources have to urge them to rectify within certain deadlines.
Meanwhile, the provincial departments of the land and resources can formulate local requirements not lower than the above indicators and carry out random inspections on the mines.
