China's imports of polished diamonds fell 18.2 percent year on year to 1.3086 million carats in the first 11 months of the year, according to the latest statistics from the Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE).
The value of polished diamond imports in China fell 25.5 percent year on year to 1.567 billion US dollars in the first 11 months. In November, the volume and value of China's polished diamond imports reached 129,400 carats and 159 million US dollars respectively, up 8 and 20 percent from the previous month.
