China is expected to eliminate 13 million metric tons (tonnes) of iron-making capacity, 17 million tonnes of steel-making capacity, 300,000 tonnes of electrolytic aluminum capacity, 38 million tonnes of cement capacity, and more than 11 million weight carbons of flat glass capacity in the full year of 2015, estimated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) on Thursday. Meanwhile, the country is also projected to resolve 15 million tonnes of excessive shipbuilding capacity in 2015, said the MIIT.
