Major steelmakers in China reported a daily crude steel output of 1.5783 million tonnes on average during the first 10 days of December, down about 1.71 percent from that in November 21-30, according to the China Iron and Steel Association.
By December 10, the major steelmakers had registered steel stocks of 14.3404 million tonnes, down 0.16 percent from the level at the end of November, data from the association showed.
