China's leading tin enterprises recently launched an initiative to cut tin output in 2016 by 17,000 metric tons (tonnes), according to the cnmn.com.cn on Thursday.

On January 14, leading tin enterprises in China convened a meeting in Kunming, capital city of southwest China's Yunnan Province, to reach a consensus about the output cut. Enterprises attending the meeting said that they will actively respond to the country's supply-side reform, take the initiative to control newly-added capacity and eliminate outdated capacity, strictly abide by the environmental protection laws, and strengthen industry self-regulation.

On China's A-share market, listed companies such as Yunnan Tin (000960.SZ), Chengtun Mining Group (600711.SH), and Shandong Expressway (600350.SH) are engaged in tin business.
