North China's Hebei provincial government has inked strategic cooperative framework agreement with China's leading IT giant Tencent Inc. to co-advance the deep integration and innovative development between local economy and the Internet. This would optimize public service as well as city management mode, according to the agreement.
The two parties would take opportunities brought by the coordinative development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and co-develop big data industry and advance smart city construction as well as the "Internet Plus" action plan, according to a source with the provincial government.
