Bond prices on China's interbank bond market are likely to increase Wednesday amid relatively loose liquidity. Traders noted that though investors began subscribing for a large batch of initial public offerings (IPOs), the liquidity condition still remained relatively loose on the whole, which might further provide a support to bond prices.
The People's Bank of China, China's central bank, continued to suspend its routine open market operations for the 13th straight session on Tuesday. On Tuesday, ChinaBond New Composite Total Return Index, a broadly-based market sentiment indicator, ended 0.0945 percent higher at 161.5827 points.
