China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) sold 30 billion yuan worth of 10-year T-bonds at an annual yield of 3.51 percent on Wednesday. Statistics from China Government Securities Depository Trust & Clearing Co. showed that yield on the 10-year fixed-rate T-bonds traded on the domestic interbank market stood at 3.5341 percent. Market players noted that this batch of T-bond drew brisk demand from institutional investors, with the subscription ratio reaching 1.9 times the volume offered.
