Bond prices on China's interbank bond market are likely to increase Tuesday amid investors' strong demand for safe-haven assets.
Traders noted that due to a near-9 percent dive in China shares on Monday, investors tended to rush into local bond market so as to guard against risks, which might further drive up bond prices.
On Monday, ChinaBond New Composite Total Return Index, a broadly-based market sentiment indicator, added 0.0734 percent to 164.0595 points.
