Bond prices on China's interbank bond market are likely to correct Tuesday, with the central bank's open market operation in focus.
Traders noted that due to lack of fresh stimulus, investors generally waited for the Tuesday's open market operations and the flash September manufacturing purchasing managers index (PMI) in a bid to detect more trading clues.
On Monday, ChinaBond New Composite Total Return Index, a broadly-based market sentiment indicator, inched up 0.0065 percent to 165.0099 points.
