China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) issued on Wednesday 20 billion yuan worth of 1-year T-bonds at annualized yield of 2.32 percent.
Statistics from China Government Securities Depository Trust & Clearing Co. showed that the yield on 1-year fixed interest rate T-bonds traded on the domestic interbank market stood at 2.368 percent. Market players disclosed that the subscription ratio reached 2.1535 times the volume offered.
This is the 1st batch of book-entry coupon bearing T-bonds offered by the ministry in 2016, with the value date and circulation date on January 7 and January 11 respectively.
