BEIJING, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- The overnight Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate (Shibor), which measures the borrowing cost of China's interbank market, rose 33.8 basis points to 2.104 percent Tuesday.

The seven-day rate went down 1.7 basis points to 2.211 percent, the one-month rate edged down 0.2 basis points to 2.372 percent, and the one-year rate rose 0.9 basis points to 2.942 percent.
