The Chinese nonferrous metals industry climate index jointly compiled by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA), China Economy Industry Climate Index Research Center, and the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), stood at 55.7 in June, up 1.4 from a month earlier.
In the second quarter of 2015, the monthly climate index was in the "normal running" range, better than the "partial cold" in the first quarter, showing the smooth running trend for the domestic nonferrous metals sector. The index contains five grades, namely, overheating, partial hot, normal running, partial cold and super cooling.
