The Ganzhou Rare Earth Industry Association recently raised the guide price of ionic rare earth ores for late December bookings by 8 to 9 percent, after its last hike in late October.

Downstream enterprises' purchases of the raw materials and the decline in low-price ore inventories prompted the association to raise ore prices, said the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM), a leading metal information provider in China.
