Oil prices rise over better outlook for crude demand

NEW YORK, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices rose on Tuesday, buoyed by an improved outlook for crude demand as investors were more optimistic about global trade prospects.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for December delivery rose 0.69 U.S. dollar to settle at 57.23 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for January delivery increased 0.83 dollar to close at 62.96 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
