The Australian dollar continued to rise on Wednesday overnight trading after Australia's Reserve Bank 's decision to leave the cash rate on hold.
The currency was trading at 71.72 U.S. cents, up from 71.22 U.S cents on Tuesday. Analysts again said slowing growth in emerging Asia and China have dominated recently. This sent the local currency higher, analysts said. enditem
