The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, marginally higher than levels seen in New York at the end of last week.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.52-53 yen compared with 110.35-45 yen in New York and 111.56-58 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1276-1277 dollars and 124.62-66 yen against 1.1280-1290 dollars and 124.55-65 yen in New York and 1.1215-1216 dollars and 125.12-16 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
