Dollar changes hands in lower 112 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with levels seen late last week in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.27-28 yen compared with 112.30-40 yen in New York and 112.05-07 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1423-1424 dollars and 128.26-30 yen against 1.1423-1433 dollars and 128.34-44 yen in New York and 1.1411-1413 dollars and 127.86-90 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
