The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-112 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, rising from its levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.47-48 yen compared with 111.95-112.05 yen in New York and 112.00-02 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro meanwhile, fetched 1.1927-1927 dollars and 134.13-14 yen against 1.1949-1959 dollars and 133.74-84 yen in New York and 1.1992-1993 dollars and 134.31-35 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
