The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday, largely unchanged from its levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.35-36 yen compared with 112.40-50 yen in New York and 112.55-56 yen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1814-1814 dollars and 132.72-73 yen against 1.1803-13 dollars and 132.76-86 yen in New York and 1.1765-1766 dollars and 132.42-46 yen in late Tuesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
