The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.00-01 yen compared with 110.99-111.09 yen in New York and 111.35-37 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1789-1789 dollars and 130.85-86 yen against 1.1786-1796 dollars and 130.83-93 yen in New York and 1.1725-1726 dollars and 130.56-60 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
