The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar fetched 110.54-55 yen compared with 110.61-71 yen in New York and 110.65-66 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1694-1695 dollars and 129.28-32 yen against 1.1687-1697 dollars and 129.33-43 yen in New York and 1.1685-1687 dollars and 129.30-34 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
