Dollar changes hands slightly below 110 yen line in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands slightly lower than the 110 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 109.95-99 yen compared with 110.02-12 yen in New York and 110.61-62 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1491-1491 dollars and 126.34-35 yen against 1.1476-1486 dollars and 126.36-46 yen in New York and 1.1420-1421 dollars and 126.32-36 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
