The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday, largely in line with its levels in New York late last week.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.74-75 yen compared with 112.77-87 yen in New York and 113.29-30 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1413-1414 dollars and 128.65-69 yen against 1.1414-1424 dollars and 128.80-90 yen in New York and 1.1342-1343 dollars and 128.50-54 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
