The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-113 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.50-51 yen compared with 113.55-65 yen in New York and 113.23-24 yen at 5 p.m. on Monday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1334-1335 dollars and 128.64-68 yen against 1.1323-1333 dollars and 128.62-72 yen in New York and 1.1362-1363 dollars and 128.65-69 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
